JACKIE S. KELLEMS PROMOTED TO VICE
PRESIDENT OF ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT FOR HCC

HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HCC) announced today that Jackie
S. Kellems has been promoted to Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management
of the Company.
Kellems has worked in various capacities for HCC and subsidiary Houston Casualty
Company since joining the Company in 1994. She has more than 25 years
experience in the insurance industry.

including more than 13 years of very important service with HCC. We are very
